Baccarat originated in Italy about the same time Columbus discovered America. Mini Baccarat is a smaller scale version of this centuries-old card game. Tables seat six and the shoe remains with the dealer throughout play. The game is played with standard 52 card decks with cards at face falue, except for 10s and face cards, which all total 0. The object of the game is to have a hand total closest to 9.
