| KUMEYAAY LANGUAGE INSTITUTE • Preserve and foster the Kumeyaay Language • Follow direction given by Elders during Elder Round Table Discussions • Approve Curriculum to be taught in Kumeyaay 1 and Kumeyaay 2 • Write the Courses of Study to be followed • Decide on Teaching Methodology to be used • Recruit Future Teachers • Teach and evaluate Apprentice Teachers • Continue dialogue with Tribal Elders in order to further develop curriculum and better prepare Teachers  |
